719^th Anniversary of Surabaya

In this month will be a special month for Surabaya. Surabaya will commemorate 719^th the anniversary of the city of Surabaya, exactly in May 31^st 2012. There are so many big event, promo, and discount. All of that is held to commemorate anniversary of the city of Surabaya.

This month will be a special month for the shopaholics in Surabaya too. Because there is a big events is held in this months, Surabaya Shopping Festival or usually we called it SSF. It is held to enliven the anniversary of the city of Surabaya. This is the fifth years held. There are many promo and discount in this event. In a full month, you can hunt many kinds of fashion requirements, house tools, gadget and many more, certainly with a big discount up to 80 percent and a direct prize. It is started on 1^st trough May 31^st 2012. SSF usually held in some plaza in Surabaya. In this year there are 15 plazas that participated to enliven fifth SSF such as Galaxy Mall, Tunjungan Plaza, WTC, ITC, Hi-Tech Mall, SPI, Royal Plaza, Surabaya Town Square, Goci Mall, Maspion Square, Cito, DTC, Plaza Marina, Atom Market Mall, and BG Junction.

Not only SSF, but also there is poncho contest that held in the Main Atrium of Grand City Mall. The contest was attended by 1000 participants mothers PKK in Surabaya. Poncho is a kind of female clothing vest (outer layer of clothes) without opening the latch and its use is directly inserted through the head. But do not just make a poncho, participants were also invited to make a decorative brooch in the form of patchwork so activity can also be a means of recycling campaigns.

There are the other big events except two events above. Such as Surabaya Great Expo that will be held on May 16^th trough 20 2012. In there you will find many kinds of UKM products.
