PINDAD

Pindad is one of BUMNS ( Bada Usaha Milik Negara Strategis) in Indonesia. This corporation build at soeharto era. In this era, ABRI, actually in forces. Soeharto want to make Indonesia to be stand alone in military industry. Our government spent many fund to build this corporation. But in 1998, Indonesia get moneter crisis and our government need most fund to make Indonesia out  from crisis. Our government look for debt from world bank and IMF. Both of them want to give debt but there are regulation from them. One of regulation is our goverment must stop to give cost to our BUMNS and belongin to PINDAD. So this corporation get hard situation in financial and to develop corporation.

In the 2009, our govermet getting loose from world bank and IMF regulation. Our goverment can give fund for BUMNS, including to PINDAD. So, this corporation can develop corporation and step by step build costumer’s confidence  to PINDAD. PINDAD get it. This corporatin get more request for their product. That is not from domestic but PINDAD get requeat from foreign, too. This is a big situation to make this corporation is big and can go international. Now, PINDAD still do request from Indonesia forces, that is 100 of anoa 6x6 (APC). After finish this request, frorm news, PINDAD want to export 32 anoa 6x6 to Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. Most popular product from PIDAD is SS weapon. It is a PINDAD product use Indonesia army.  From other blog, I hear that PINDAD want to make tarantula armored, join production with korea republic corporation.
