Facing Fear

Friend, tell your heart, the fear of pain was more torturing than the pain itself. And no one who suffer from heart while pursuing their dreams come true with sincerity, because every second can be likened to the quest of reunion with God and eternity.
If desires or dreams that are a source of suffering, then remember that unwillingness is also another form of desire. Want and don't want to be together to face the suffering. As stone and sand grains that are equally submerge in the water. So, why do not we make it desires, dreams, and trying to make it happen? Although it has to go through suffering. Just simple, just enjoy it ... like the grief and fatigue in achieving beautiful dreams are sweet when it is actually received by the patient and sincerely.

Fear

"Do what you most fear and the fear was doomed to extinction." Mark Twain

Fear seems to have become part of the behavior of most of us: fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of being teased, fear of poverty. This fear forms eventually cause mental illnesses such as fear, anxiety, stress, sadness and so on due to the assumption that the future will be worse than what is experienced now.
Friend, there are two kinds of fear. Namely:

    Natural fear.     The made-up fear.

Natural fear of fear can be said that based on our instincts as a living being. Fear is a natural mechanism that God has given to us. The goal is, that we be cautious, and therefore be saved. For example, when we crossed the street, we'll look left look right to make sure we do not get hit. This natural fear of the basic survival of our ancestors from the time of homo sapiens first because if we do not already extinct since time immemorial. This natural fear based on facts. So there is a parameter that clearly why we are afraid that we anticipate the action.

The second type of fear is fear which is based on fiction - not fact. This type of fear that causes concern, anxiety and stress when it is unsupported assumption that the real facts. For example, someone who is afraid of speaking in public think that people would not be sneered at when it happened. These people eventually choose to say anything just to play safe.

Overcoming Fear

First, change your focus from fear to love, from fear to optimism. Realize that fear is nothing more than an illusion that is not necessarily the case. Love what you are doing wholeheartedly. Ignore the worries and eliminate standards, rules, or beliefs that are made by someone else because you're the only self that knows what is best for you.

Second, build communication with yourself. Ask yourself every time you feel worried, "Are these concerns bring good or harm me?". Tell yourself that you love yourself as you are. No one in this world that determines your happiness but yourself. Not parents, not the boss, not your partner as well.
The latter is the practice to stop thinking about the future and spend your time as much as possible in the present. This means that your mind and body are always in sync, instead of the body here but mind drift everywhere. Fears, anxiety, pessimism simply because we are too concerned about the future. With our focus to the present we have more energy and power to obtain happiness now, not later, but now and here ....
"The key to success is to instill a habit throughout your life to do the things you fear"
"What are you afraid to be done is a clear indicator of what you should do next"
"Courage is not absence of fear without, but rather a decision that is more important than fear itself"
